Repairing Deck plate, there was some delaming along the edges, so I clamped and gooped w/ FG resin.....

Bar-B-Que'in the transom, I tarped the boat and ran a space heater and fan to facilitate drying. When I put in the new drain tubes, it was pretty much dried....

Transom's cleaning up nice w/ light sand...Oh yeah, note my neighbor's Aquasport in the background

Here's a not so good gelcoat repair on the gunnel, man I HATE that stuff........

The gunnel post gelcoat, I filled screw holes w/ Formula 27 filler, then gelcoated, along process, but results came out fairly nice for a first timer......

Here's the deck plate after I repaired the edges, then painted the bottom side w/ rustoleum topside paint available at LOWES for $9.99 a quart. As you can see, all of the required tools of the trade such as Beer, Smokes & Wallet are kept within easy reach...........

Now things are starting to shape up!!! Here's a shot with the new used center console that I aquired. It's from an 18' Mckee Offshoreman. I got the console & the grabrail in Fairmont.....

Lookin GOOD Baby!!! Now I'm leaning towards painting the entire interior of the boat w/ 2part epoxy paint w/ noskid on the gunnels and floor. I found a paint called "Bluewater" that I'm leaning towards. About $100 a gallon and cheaper and supposedly equivalent to Awlgrip....I also bought a new poly gas 25 gal gas tank and a 70qt Todd swingback seat (both on Ebay for a bargain). Now the REAL work begins!!

That's it till next time......mo later

2008 Finally this Boat gets going with total rehab!!!!
