Here's the original Teak swim platform, I refurb'ed it completely w/ much elbow grease. I reused most of the fasteners (after much cleaning w/ fine steel wool, 1000 grit paper etc...) I was able to replace the tube end plastic plugs on the ladder w/ off-the shelf ones at the hardware store. Yes It looks a little odd w/ the original gelcoat at the water line, but my plan is to get this boat in the water ASAP and bottom paint next winter.

Here's Vance 6" Jackplate (Ebay), will see how motor works out, I am somewhat curious to see if the motor will interfere w/ the swim platform at full tilt turned to port.

Boweye reinstalled, all of gunnel top got noskid. I do not plan to put a front rail on this boat. The original (aluminum) was shot.

here's a good shot of the paint job and the nice shiny refurb'ed rear cleat installed. I did not paint noskid around the cleats as I figured it would be harder to clean underneath.

Grab-rail mounted.....

here's how you cut a perfect circle out of star board....this will be the mounting plate for the steering unit.

Bottom pressure washed and the sides treated w/ Vertglass...

More to follow soon.
